Why Computer Adaptive Test (CAT)?

The AMC CAT MCQ is delivered as a Computer Adaptive Test (CAT), which means the difficulty of the questions adjusts based on your performance:

  • Customised Exam: Each candidate takes a unique exam based on their responses.

  • Adaptive Questioning:

    • If you answer a question correctly, the next question will be more challenging.
If you answer incorrectly, the following question will be easier.

  • Sequential Questions: You must answer each question to proceed. There is no option to skip or return to previous questions.

  • Result: A defined cut score determines whether a candidate passes or fails the examination. This pass point is the same for all candidates, ensuring a fair and consistent standard.
